EAW pivot mounts. The original.
EAW developed and launched the pivot mount over 50 years ago. This mount offers many advantages that make it one of the most popular types of mount available, which is why other manufacturers have copied it over time. EAW pivot mounts and pivot mounts with lever are designed to ensure absolute accuracy even under the toughest conditions.

Advantages
- Mount height and eye relief freely configurable
- Easily attach and remove scope mount with one hand, since the rear foot snaps automatically into the lock on our pivot mounts
- Front foot and rear foot fit adjustable
- Front foot has a large shear cross-section (approx. 3x that of claw mount) that prevents tilting and guarantees shooting stability even with large calibres
- Horizontal adjustment with EAW pull-down support
- Vertical adjustment by easily exchanging the rear foot sub-base in stages of 0.5 mm
- Vertical tolerance compensation if there are weapon tolerances thanks to adjustable front foot
- Consistent point of impact because the scope is tension-free, even if attached and removed multiple times
- Ideal for second scopes and aiming devices

Pivot mounts with lever
- EAW developed the pivot mounts with lever specifically for break action firearms. The mount attachment is not on the weapon, but rather on the scope mount. This ensures a low mount height.
- Stable, reliable design for optimal repeat precision when re-attaching the scope mount (the DEVA proved back in 1979 that this type of mount withstands the toughest conditions: Even after 10,000 shots, the mount retained 100% precision with repeatedly attaching and removing the scope)
- Lowest arrangement of the mounting plates to the rail height allows for aiming using the iron sight
- Rear foot with support
- Exchangeable rear foot top and sub-base in different heights
- Rifles with claw mounts can be converted to a lever pivot mount, with only minor changes necessary to the weapon itself
- Parts available for a second scope
- Attachment does not close securely
- Elegant appearance
